It has been a long time since we last posted. Since coming ashore we have moved into a house and resumed our shore side life. Pat has returned to work and picked up where she left off. Nice company that will let her do that.
I have become head chef and house man of Team Helios shore base. We finally got some furniture that we left with Pat's parents and bought a bunch of stuff from IKEA. Gotta love IKEA. Furnish your whole house for about a grand(boat unit).
We have had a few great dinner parties and have attended several dinners of our friends. Life ashore is going fine.
Do we miss the boat, yes. Do we miss the freezing temps, no. We just take it a little at a time. Slow and sweet. We may start the blog again. I don't know right now. Maybe a cooking blog. I could dig that.
