Bon Jour from our new home in Avignon. We have spent the last few days traveling by train from Germany. Our first stop was Nice, where we wandered the flowers, food and art in the outdoor market. The day was a sunny 61 degrees, so we had a picnic on the Med.
Jumped the next train to Avignon in Provence for a jolt of medieval architecture, lamb stew and fine red wine. We have toured the sites, lets just say it is good to be the Pope, and will be on our way to Paris in the morning.
We are off to lunch. Rabbit anyone?
